Qiuming Yang
President and Chief Executive Officer
QiuMing Yang is President and Chief Executive Officer of Auria and a member of the executive board.
Previously, Yang was the Managing Director of Asia/RSA and Executive Vice President. In that role, he was responsible for the company’s operations and business strategy in the region and was instrumental in expanding the company’s customer base, while adding five new manufacturing facilities in China. Yang also successfully launched Auria’s majority-owned joint venture in South Africa which is now operating at full capacity and serving two of Auria’s strategic global customers.
Yang’s career and automotive experience spans more than 25 years with Auria and its predecessor companies, IAC and Lear. Prior to the formation of Auria in 2017, Yang was Vice President of International Automotive Components (IAC) China, headquartered in Shanghai, where he was responsible for Commercial, Engineering and Manufacturing operations across China. Concurrently, he also served as General Manager of the Shanghai IAC Songjiang Automotive Carpet and Acoustics Co., Ltd. joint venture. During his time at IAC, Yang played a critical role in successfully growing and diversifying the customer base, expanding the company’s regional product portfolio, adding seven new facilities to the operation and more than tripling sales for the region.
Before his time with IAC, Yang spent more than a decade with Lear Corporation in a variety of positions, including Business Development Manager, Shanghai Door Trim Plant Operations Director and Shanghai Carpet Plant Manager. Yang earned his Bachelor of Science degree in scientific English and computer science from Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, his Master of Engineering degree from Dong Hua University and his Executive Master of Business Administration from the China European International Business School.
