Auria’s Sarah Janowicz Receives Crain’s Notable Women in Manufacturing Recognition
DETROIT. – (Feburary 11, 2018) – Sarah Janowicz, controller at Auria, has been named one a one of the “Notable Women in Manufacturing” by Crain’s Detroit Business. Auria CEO, Brian Pour, nominated Sarah for this recognition, based on her work as the head of the global accounting function for Auria.
As Controller, Sarah manages all of the accounting departments from Europe, Asia and North America. She played an integral role in the creation of the company, combining the existing business sectors of IAC and Shanghai Shenda Co. Ltd. She led the very complicated transaction to create Auria in accordance with all accounting laws and procedures in Europe, Asia and North America.
Sarah was instrumental in obtaining all of the required Chinese regulatory approvals and was responsible for preparing all of the accounting data required for audit by multiple Chinese government and agency consultants. This work was critical to obtaining approvals needed to complete the creation of the company.
